How to Activate Live Caption on Android Phones
Steps to activate live caption:
- Swipe down your notifications
- Then swipe down again to access the quick settings panel
- Now look for, by scrolling over, something called Live Caption
In the even that you do not see it through the steps above, simple do this:
- Scroll all the way to the side or end of the quick settings panel
- Look for the + button (see below)
Once you find the plus (+) button, it might be hidden there. When you find it, Just hold down on it and drag and drop it where you want it in the quick settings panel.
Now that you have the Live Caption just go ahead and tap it. Live Caption is now activated. What this will now do is, it is going to give you captions for practically anything that you are watching (Even TikTok). Captions will be displayed in a little black box and you can tap and move that caption box anywhere you want on your phone screen.
